A new Internet is on the way
AT IOUR FOUNDATION OUR MISSION IS TO PROMOTE THE DEVELOPMENT AND THE ADOPTION OF NEW PROTOCOLS TO ENHANCE THE FUNDAMENTAL PROPERTIES OF THE INTERNET.
ARPANET/Internet
From a fringe experiment, the Internet has grown to be the central technology of our time, ubiquitous and nearly omnipotent. It has profoundly transformed our societies and culture, opening the era of the information society on a global scale. We have stretched it to an incredible extent, but the internet is now showing the technological limits inherent to its protocol.
State of the art
In the last 10 years we have seen the emergence of new, disruptive technologies that will give rise to a new internet: open, resilient and capable of natively offering smart services that are now perceived as essential: decentralised identity, content search, electronic messaging, data storage, cybersecurity, confidentiality, traceability, and many more.
Goals
With new internationally standardized protocols, we have the potential to build a network that guarantees universal resources and rights for all, fostering systems of organization that are truly decentralized and respectful of fundamental rights. The world is more than ready for digital democracy and decentralized finance, and it’s time the Internet delivered.
Team
We believe that open standards should start with human rights!

Digital technology is shaping history. But there is also the sense that it is running away with us. Where will it take us? Will our dignity and rights be enhanced or diminished?

We demonstrated that the Web had failed instead of served humanity, as it was supposed to have done, and failed in many places.

From the dominance of Facebook in social messaging, Google in search and Amazon in online shopping, the largest Internet platforms are capturing fundamental human interactions.

Alphabet not only operates an online advertising platform, but also a search engine, a mail platform, a document store, a cloud, a public DNS resolver, a mobile device platform to name just a few.

I think the world we live in now is too often one in which investment in start-up companies is geared towards reaching the point where they can be sold to one of the existing big players.

Strategy planning
We are writing a book that summarizes the theoretical and practical bases of our initiative. We are in discussions with the world’s leading standards organizations through partnerships.
IOUR THEORY
IOUR will be interoperable with the TCP/IP model and other Internet-based services.
open source IP
Patents will act as a legal shield against all attempts to privatize Internet innovation.
crowdfunding
The investment will finance IP and the first protocol deployment structures.
